On the road between Kabul and Jalalabad, a shepherd drives his sheep towards Kabul, and a Pakistani cargo truck heads towards Peshawar. Despite the current climate of fear and uncertainty, many Afghan citizens continue to work for peace and reconstruction in their country. Now that the ruling Taliban has been removed by the US war on terror, Afghans are trying to rebuild their roads, their schools and their identity.
